Near the town of Superior just south of US60, this is a short but challenging hike. It’s about 1,500 ft elevation gain and a 2 mile trail to the top at 4,377 ft. There you will find the mailbox and a metal bench.
It is not easy to hike, especially in the middle part of the trail. The trail is not marked enough, but red and white arrows are painted on the rocks to help. The terrain is overgrown with various plants and cactus, so you can count on scratches.
Very challenging hiking where you will need water supplies but the view from the top is exceptional and really worth the effort.
